Steps is the debut album by Cairo based artist Ahmed Raslan aka Razland. It was co-produced by Amir Samman from Go! Save The Hostages! and released through Egyptian netlabel Cyrdaeb.
Razland delivers concise and clean rhythms of a type rarely heard in the region. A mixture of techno, electro and acid in a style similar to Mr. Oizo and Siriusmo yet uniquely flavoured by the local electronic music scene which favours short, sharp synthesizers on top of steady and pulsating beats.
